Before they took J&J's identities, Misty and Jill-as-herself bumped into each other at a store and Misty had the cheek to get annoyed thinking Jill wasn't watching where she was going and, well, Misty can have a temper. So Jill developed a hateboner for Misty in addition to the Ketchums and John enabled her.
