"Apollo..." Clay intertwined their fingers together. "How... do you say 'I love you' in Khura'inese?"

Apollo could feel his pulse throb against his bracelet. A soft chuckle came out of him before he told Clay the words, the astronaut repeating them as best as he could.

"That's... pretty good for your first try." Apollo pressed his forehead against Clay's. "It sounds right hearing you say that. Like it was meant to be this way."

"Makes me happy to hear that," Clay said. "I'm glad you're willing to share so much with me... it makes you feel whole."

"...I had an inkling you and Clay were in love with each other," Red teased. Taranis nodded to his trainer's words. "So did Taranis and Ivan, incidentally."

Apollo's face went bright red, almost the same hue as his outfit. "You could tell?!"

"You two reminded me of my parents when they're together," Red elaborated. "And, honestly, the way you worry about me... it's like being worried by Mom, I have to admit."

I never thought things could get this awkward, Apollo realized. "So if I'm like your mother..."

"Oh, not entirely! Like, your personalities are different. And Dad and Mr. Terran. I just..." Red's grin turned crooked. "It felt comfortable, I mean. Like a favorite comfort meal... you know?"

"Well, if that's what you meant by it, I'm... I'm kinda flattered." Apollo rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment, however.

"At this rate, considering your apartment, you and Clay might have to go to a love hotel for some privacy," Phoenix told his fellow lawyer with a grin.

"M-M-Mr. Wright!?" Never had he heard Apollo's voice got that high of an octave, or go as perfectly red as his suit. "What are you talking about?!"

"As the closest thing to a father figure you have, please make sure to be responsible should the two of you go far... I'm sure you had the appropriate education in school, Apollo."

"Mr. Wright!"

"Ah, and I hope to meet up with Clay again, to offer him my blessing and congratulations. You're a very lucky man, indeed."

"Mr. Wright!"

Dhurke isn't around to embarrass Apollo, so being Trucy's adoptive dad, Phoenix totally dads Apollo when needed. XP

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU I wanted a scene with Apollo talking in Khura'inese (thought I didn't write it out because I wasn't sure how to approach that), and thought it would be a cute moment. I LOVE CLAYPOLLO OKAY?!

DHURKE IS GONNA HAVE A FIELD DAY WHEN WE GET TO THE AA6 STUFF. (Since iirc we had a sequel to this planned.)

YES, I knew we created a verse called The Arcean Turnabout and I knew about Blue and Gary being half brothers, but forgot the latter sequel.

...I kinda wanna drag in Masaki somehow, since with my headcanons he'd be from Lavender Town. And his name would be changed to Mason Anders... but IDK what sort of role he would have. (But I have an idea of his team. XP)
