So people can see how I brainstorm a character.

EliwoodGabriel (9:28:13 PM): Also did I ever told you about my crazy AU for FEA?
Elentir3 (9:28:33 PM): Hm...I don't think so.
EliwoodGabriel (9:30:26 PM): Long story short, I had more nonsense into FEA's world while giving more sense to the plot, because there needs to be more choices and more insanity to it.
And I drag a few pseudo-crossovers into it because of legic reasoning.
EliwoodGabriel (9:30:29 PM): legit.
Elentir3 (9:30:40 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (9:32:07 PM): For example, the Chrom that died in Lucina's timeline now watches over her in the game timeline as some sort of spirit inspired by Persona's Velvet Room stuff.
Elentir3 (9:33:42 PM): Plausible.
EliwoodGabriel (9:37:13 PM): He feels bad over leaving his kids behind (this is a fic in which he's paired with Robin) and the result of his world, so because of his feelings of guilt, he's the one who arranged that whole "go into another timeline" thing thanks to Naga's help. After Chrom and co. meets "Marth" and meets up with Emmeryn, it turns out the area where Donnel is have a legendary Observatory, and the Observer Spirit, Shelley, asks to meet with Chrom before he leaves for Ferox to give him words of wisdom. That's when he meets Bram, aka Lucina's Chrom.
Elentir3 (9:38:09 PM): Ah, interesting.
EliwoodGabriel (9:38:36 PM): It gets freaking awkward for the two, lol.
Elentir3 (9:39:45 PM): Yeah, it would.
EliwoodGabriel (9:41:58 PM): Chrom was all WTF?!?!?!?! when he saw Bram. Ffff/
Elentir3 (9:42:32 PM): XD I would be too!
EliwoodGabriel (9:44:23 PM): Poor Fred was like, "Lord Chrom! Er, Lord Chroms?" And Chrom was all like, "Plz no, Fred."
Elentir3 (9:44:58 PM): XD
EliwoodGabriel (9:47:34 PM): And Bram insists to Fred to be called Bram and be informal with him. "Please, just call me Bram... I no longer respond to the name Chrom. That man died and caused a great disservice to his land... I don't deserve to bear that name any longer."
Elentir3 (9:49:14 PM): Ahhh. Makes sense.
EliwoodGabriel (9:49:48 PM): Of course, he's talking about his guilt. He doesn't outright reveal he's Lucina's father or what happened to him.
Elentir3 (9:52:21 PM): Yeah, that'd damage the flow of the story.
EliwoodGabriel (9:53:45 PM): Well, Bram kinda knows what's going on- that's why he's refered as an Observer- so he knew it wouldn't be wise.
EliwoodGabriel (9:56:41 PM): He also throws a book at Frederick when he started to ask questions he knew it would be bad to answer. "No! I can't answer everything, Frederick! A proper Observer bids their time to reveal their secrets! Leave me alone!"
Elentir3 (9:58:02 PM): Haha, throws a book, eh?
Elentir3 (9:58:28 PM): That's good. So he's able to do more than just talk?
EliwoodGabriel (10:00:19 PM): Yeah, he just doesn't sit around and talk. He moves around and checks on people's wounds and stuff.
Elentir3 (10:02:54 PM): Ahh.
EliwoodGabriel (10:05:05 PM): Yeah, Fred has a tendancy to get Bram's goat. I can imagine him speaking much softer than normal Chrom, sounding like he's thorned up by his past and the fact that he died in his world and can't go there again, but Fred gets him back sounding like Chrom. When they're irritated. XP
Elentir3 (10:05:41 PM): I bet XD
EliwoodGabriel (10:07:03 PM): "FREDERICK!" "Wooooah, that was cool. I just heard this really cool effect with Chrom and Bram!" "Lissa, you're not helping!" "You're the worst sister ever, Lissa!
Elentir3 (10:08:32 PM): XD!
EliwoodGabriel (10:08:59 PM): Stereo effect. It's hilarious. XP
Elentir3 (10:10:06 PM): Yeah. It's like a voice dubbed over itself.
EliwoodGabriel (10:10:47 PM): And Bram is always with them in the Outrealms. Cue hilarious reactions!
Elentir3 (10:12:08 PM): Hubba would think he has an Einherjar of himself.
Elentir3 (10:12:24 PM): (It's not that insane, you can have one of Tiki and three Marths)
EliwoodGabriel (10:12:29 PM): Except Bram doesn't glow blue...?
Elentir3 (10:12:36 PM): Ahh.
Elentir3 (10:12:44 PM): Is he solid-looking or transparent?
EliwoodGabriel (10:15:57 PM): Solid-looking. Hell, when Chrom noted that Bram didn't looked dead to him, he says it's because he now exist in a higher plane of existance instead of staying dead.
Elentir3 (10:16:07 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (10:16:13 PM): Eyup.
EliwoodGabriel (10:26:49 PM): He does imply about having children, though, before Chrom is aware of Lucina. "My greatest failure... the reason I left the name Chrom and became Bram... was leaving my most precious people behind. Two very, very precious people, that I would dare go back and fight tooth and nail to keep them safe."
"Who are they?"
"...The very reason why I'm standing right in front of you right now. To keep you from going the path I've gone through. These people... they did not deserved what I left them. Just one sword... and a world of troubles."
Elentir3 (10:27:39 PM): Ahh.
EliwoodGabriel (10:28:35 PM): ...Because those words Chrom said upon discovering Lucina really said something, and I thought it would sound cooler as an echo.
Elentir3 (10:28:55 PM): Yeah, that works very well.
EliwoodGabriel (10:31:23 PM): Bram loves his baby girl. ...And his boy. He has a hard time playing favorites because there's moments when he questions Lucina's sanity and is all, "Yeah, if you'll excuse me, I'll have your brother teach me how to use this tome."
Elentir3 (10:32:26 PM): XD I bet
EliwoodGabriel (10:33:37 PM): "I DIDN'T RAISE YOU TO BE MORE OF A NUTJOB THAN I AM."
Elentir3 (10:37:48 PM): Pfff...God forbid I ever have kids, I can see me saying that!
EliwoodGabriel (10:39:15 PM): Yeah, that's one of the reasons I don't want kids. I'm too scared I'll make them nutjobs.
EliwoodGabriel (10:42:22 PM): Now I have a scene in my head of Bram telling Lucina to go to bed because she's drunk and she's all like, "I HATE YOU" and he throws a book at her to knock her out and after that he wangsts to Chrom about his failure as a father.
Elentir3 (10:45:22 PM): Oh, normal father-teenager stuff.
EliwoodGabriel (10:45:59 PM): Except Lucina is like, 18 by now? And Bram's pratically a divine being.
Elentir3 (10:51:28 PM): 18's not too old for angsty drunk teenage antics.

EliwoodGabriel (7:26:42 PM): ...But yeah. Poor Bram. He tends to drag Chrom in his wangsting.
Elentir3 (7:32:32 PM): Nothing like talking to yourself when you're angsty.
EliwoodGabriel (7:33:31 PM): And Chrom's totally feeling awkward and can only pat his shoulder because, y'know, his Lucina is barely a newborn at the time and he doesn't understand what Bram went throught.
Elentir3 (7:33:43 PM): Yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (7:35:20 PM): "WHY MUST MY BABY GIRL HATE ME? WHERE DID I GO WRONG?!" "Um, Bram, look-" "WHY, CHROM, WHY?!" "I'm just as clueless as you are!"
Elentir3 (7:35:51 PM): Yeah. Where'd you get the idea for the name Bram, by the way?
EliwoodGabriel (7:38:19 PM): Inspiration from the theme naming in Persona 3 and 4 for the characters in the Velvet Room. They're all based on Frankeinstein, so for the Observers I went with authors of fantasy/early sci-fi books. Shelley, Bram's superior, is named after Mary Shelley, the author of Frankeinstein, and Bram is taken from Bram Stroker, the one who wrote Dracula.
Elentir3 (7:38:59 PM): Ohhh. Cool. Especially since Stoker was Irish, bit of national pride there for me.
EliwoodGabriel (7:42:20 PM): Oooh, cool! And yeah, there's also the fact that Chrom's name may be based on a barely known Celtic deity.
Elentir3 (7:48:27 PM): Cromm Cruac?

EliwoodGabriel (8:27:43 PM): Believe it or not, I also have a small-ish design for Bram, too.
Elentir3 (8:28:35 PM): Oh?
**
Elentir3 (8:29:21 PM): Aha. A tome?
EliwoodGabriel (8:29:56 PM): Yep. One that's unbreakable and gives him access to all magic spells in FE history.
Elentir3 (8:30:33 PM): Oh, blimey, that's a hell of a tome.
Elentir3 (8:30:54 PM): ...Even Loptous? That could be dangerous.
EliwoodGabriel (8:31:19 PM): Yep, even Loptous. He wanted to cast that on Grima. XP
Elentir3 (8:32:07 PM): Aha. I'm guessing it's a simulation without the actual evil spirit?
EliwoodGabriel (8:32:29 PM): It's the spell without the actual evil spirit, yes. XP
Elentir3 (8:33:11 PM): Okay, that makes more sense.
EliwoodGabriel (8:33:25 PM): Eyyup.
EliwoodGabriel (8:35:24 PM): Also, he can't use Falchion anymore.
Elentir3 (8:35:32 PM): Creidyllad could be handy in a pinch, since (based on the animation) it's a portable version of Ashera's Judgement.
EliwoodGabriel (8:35:41 PM): Mmmm.
Elentir3 (8:35:42 PM): It won't acknowledge him?
EliwoodGabriel (8:38:29 PM): The opposite. Now, think for a moment, he's pratically the same thing as Naga right now. Him with just the regular (Sealed) Falchion? He would be swinging the equvalant of the Exalted Falchion!
Elentir3 (8:38:57 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (8:40:11 PM): So yeah. Him with the Falchion = Chrom not needing to do anything in his battle. As an Observer, Bram's not allowed to go that far.
Elentir3 (8:42:17 PM): Ahh. So he's sort of a Jagen-type character in that regard?
EliwoodGabriel (8:43:19 PM): Well, more of a Gotoh-type.
Elentir3 (8:44:40 PM): Hm...true.
EliwoodGabriel (8:44:48 PM): And he's only available via Spotpass like Emmeryn and Gangrel. XP
EliwoodGabriel (8:45:27 PM): Because he's too uber.
Elentir3 (8:45:34 PM): XDDD
EliwoodGabriel (8:45:43 PM): And the Avatar cannot marry him!
Elentir3 (8:46:01 PM): No, being able to father the next in Naga's line is more than enough power for the Avatar.
EliwoodGabriel (8:46:31 PM): And technically, Bram is already married.
Elentir3 (8:46:46 PM): Ah, yes, true.
EliwoodGabriel (8:47:45 PM): In contrast, he'll have more supports than the rest of the Spotpass characters. XP
Elentir3 (8:49:04 PM): More than one, that is.
EliwoodGabriel (8:49:12 PM): Yup!
EliwoodGabriel (8:51:23 PM): Fffff, omg. Convo B with Lucina should be the one in which she gets drunk and tells him she hates him and he wangsts to Chrom. XP
Elentir3 (8:51:54 PM): Yeah, that's definitely B-level material.
Elentir3 (8:52:51 PM): They do usually follow the three-act structure quite nicely.
EliwoodGabriel (8:53:00 PM): Yeah!
EliwoodGabriel (8:58:14 PM): "Lucina... have you been drinking?! Who gave you permission?!" "N-no uh, Fah... Fahdah..." "Lucina, please. Drink some water, get to bed, you're gonna feel terrible tomorrow." "Nuh! Yer... Yer der terrable uh! Aye hate uh!" "..." *sound effect of Lucina getting smacked by a flying book* "Why..." "Lucina! ...Bram, what happened?!" "WHERE DID I GO WRONG WITH LUCINA?!" "Uh oh."
EliwoodGabriel (9:04:01 PM): Yeah, that would be B-level in a nutshell. XP
Elentir3 (9:05:00 PM): Definitely.
EliwoodGabriel (9:05:41 PM): Poor Bram. He brings issues to Chrom.
EliwoodGabriel (9:06:27 PM): And poor Chrom? ...Yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (9:06:37 PM): Those two has issues.
Elentir3 (9:07:37 PM): In those circumstances it's no surprise.
EliwoodGabriel (9:08:14 PM): And it's worst with the whole story because I go CRAZY with Chrom's (and by extention Bram's) backgrounds.
EliwoodGabriel (9:10:11 PM): Chrom's daddy issues aren't about his father- he wasn't a bad father, per se, but his actions during that war against Plegia made Chrom really hate him.
Elentir3 (9:11:01 PM): I can see that.
EliwoodGabriel (9:14:16 PM): Like, his dad was stoic and distant, but at least he was caring enough to acknowledge him and wasn't an ass to him.
Elentir3 (9:14:41 PM): Yeah, all three kids seem emotionally well-adjusted enough, so I figured they must've had okay parents.
Elentir3 (9:14:52 PM): ...Or okay nannies, knowing how nobility is.
EliwoodGabriel (9:15:21 PM): They had both. Actually, I have it that Old Nurse Nan was Chrom's dad's nurse.
Elentir3 (9:15:33 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (9:16:04 PM): But yeah. They had okay parents... actually, I'm kinda on the fence if the mom died of childbirth or something.

EliwoodGabriel (8:29:13 PM): I'm bored, so could you help me out and ask different questions about Bram? Because I really need to set his character straight. ^^;;; That is, if you don't mind.
Elentir3 (8:29:31 PM): Hm...does he need to eat?
EliwoodGabriel (8:30:26 PM): He doesn't, but that doesn't mean he can't, of course. It just slightly boosts his energy and stuff. (He, however, still have Chrom's tastebuds, so...)
Elentir3 (8:30:49 PM): Of course. Hm...which Chrom pairing are you going with in this fic again?
EliwoodGabriel (8:31:33 PM): Robin for both this one and Magie Royale. The designs for both ARE going to be different, as per canon.
Elentir3 (8:32:21 PM): How do the two interact? I mean, Robin kinda knows what she did to Chrom/Bran due to the flashbacks.
EliwoodGabriel (8:34:50 PM): He tries to avoid her as best as he can, because seeing her really, really tores him apart, because he freaking LOVED his Robin and was pretty damned upset upon becoming an Observer on what had become of her. Robin respects that (although she's not aware for a long time about the situation) and keeps her distance away from him.
Elentir3 (8:36:11 PM): Ahhh. Now, all of the troops know about Bram, right? I'm sure some of them must have pretty strong reactions to a second Chrom, which is even more out-there than the future children.
EliwoodGabriel (8:36:31 PM): Considering everyone meets him before the future children...
Elentir3 (8:38:44 PM): Yeah. That'd be the first major hint that there's something bigger amiss than Plegia's aggression.
EliwoodGabriel (8:38:53 PM): Exactly.
Elentir3 (8:39:04 PM): ...Well, aside from the zombies, of course.
EliwoodGabriel (8:39:28 PM): Heck, it's what tipped Lissa off when she meets him!
Elentir3 (8:40:25 PM): ...Two big brothers...she must have an interesting reaction too.
EliwoodGabriel (8:40:47 PM): She screamed. XD. "My... my ears..."
Elentir3 (8:42:00 PM): XDDD
EliwoodGabriel (8:43:13 PM): Then she was all like, "there's no way you're Chrom! That Brand must be fake!" And she almost rips his shirt off... revealing his wounds.
Elentir3 (8:43:32 PM): Oh boy.
EliwoodGabriel (8:43:43 PM): Then she screamed again.
Elentir3 (8:43:49 PM): A combination puncture/burn scar, I take it? Not pretty.
EliwoodGabriel (8:44:09 PM): That, and the scars he recieved when Emmeryn died in his world.
EliwoodGabriel (8:44:25 PM): And he also have a... crap, let me check wikipedia again.
EliwoodGabriel (8:46:39 PM): A permanant Litchenburg figure.
Elentir3 (8:47:29 PM): Ahhhh.
EliwoodGabriel (8:47:41 PM): Yeah. All of those on his chest.
EliwoodGabriel (8:50:41 PM): It's actually not as bad, however, since being an Observer actually helped ease the look of them. As a human, it would've look much worst.
Elentir3 (8:52:35 PM): Yeesh, I'd imagine.
EliwoodGabriel (8:53:10 PM): So yeah, cue freak out from everyone once his wounds was revealed. The only one who didn't freaked out was Shelley.
Elentir3 (8:54:15 PM): Memory flop, who's Shelley again?
EliwoodGabriel (8:54:46 PM): Bram's superior and the real owner of the Observatory. Here's her Gaia design:
**
Elentir3 (8:55:09 PM): Ohhh.
Elentir3 (8:59:45 PM): Hm...well, Bram has his uber-tome, right? That's pretty powerful (access to Holsety, Apocalypse, Creidyllad, etc.), is there some sort of restriction on his fighting?
EliwoodGabriel (8:59:59 PM): Yeah, he needs permission to fight.
EliwoodGabriel (9:00:30 PM): As in, Shelley forbides him to even brings his uber-tome with him when he's with Chrom.
Elentir3 (9:00:38 PM): Ahhh.
Elentir3 (9:01:16 PM): What about Plegia/the Grimleal? Do they have any new allies in this fic?
EliwoodGabriel (9:02:10 PM): Not really.
Elentir3 (9:02:45 PM): Aha. So Chrom's team kinda has a new card up their sleeves.
Elentir3 (9:02:59 PM): Albeit one with restricted use.
EliwoodGabriel (9:03:04 PM): Exactly.
EliwoodGabriel (9:03:57 PM): ...The other variation of this story, where the pseudo-crossovers are more blatant, it's because Grima did something to a god and pissed them off, so they made the greatest gamble ever done by one.
Elentir3 (9:04:16 PM): Oh?
EliwoodGabriel (9:06:15 PM): Long story short, Grima killed her first follower out of spite... and pissed off that someone dared to try and play god themselves, decided that should Grima be revived, she's gonna take action no if-ands-or-buts. This results in getting more otherworldly beings in the mix, resulting in a Persona 4-esque storyline.
Elentir3 (9:06:49 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (9:08:55 PM): But I do explain as to why it didn't happened in Lucina's world... A god can't help if she can't be among humans.
EliwoodGabriel (9:09:16 PM): At least, in her case.
Elentir3 (9:10:32 PM): Er...I'm not quite sure I follow.
EliwoodGabriel (9:12:06 PM): Well, in her case, she does live in the Outrealms, but her home does appear in the Ylissean continent to human eyes thanks to a special being. The war against Plegia and Ylisse not only almost destroyed her home, but that special being died, so she couldn't help anyone at all.
Elentir3 (9:12:58 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (9:13:37 PM): Yeah, and that's the whole story. And even in that world, Bram doesn't even fight with them, he just pops in to say hi. He's got even MORE stuff to worry about in that version.
Elentir3 (9:14:04 PM): Such as?
EliwoodGabriel (9:14:52 PM): Well, in that version, The Observers are the same beings as the people in the Velvet Room, residing in places were Personas can't exist.
Elentir3 (9:16:08 PM): Ah.
EliwoodGabriel (9:16:43 PM): So he's got more responsabilities in that version.
EliwoodGabriel (9:19:26 PM): Like making sure the lack of Persona stays that way.
Elentir3 (9:20:48 PM): Yeah, that makes sense.
EliwoodGabriel (9:21:38 PM): Anyway! ...Um, do you still have more question for regular!Bram?
Elentir3 (9:23:15 PM): Hrmm...none off-hand, if I think of any I'll let you know.
EliwoodGabriel (9:23:34 PM): Okay, thanks~!
EliwoodGabriel (9:23:53 PM): ...Seriously, that part with Bram's chest will be a nightmare to describe.
Elentir3 (9:24:36 PM): Oooh, yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (9:25:02 PM): Both in writing it, and what the end result with be.
EliwoodGabriel (9:25:14 PM): Yeah, Lissa screaming at the sight? She had valid reason.
Elentir3 (9:25:34 PM): Oh, I can only imagine.
EliwoodGabriel (9:28:45 PM): Chrom... poor Chrom. "All color drained upon his face, and for a moment Robin was certain his knees was going to buckle underneath him. Then, a more sickly tone came to his cheeks, and now she wondered if she needed to remove him from the area before he got sick." ...Yeah, his reaction.
Elentir3 (9:32:43 PM): Oh, wow. Especially seeing those horrid wounds on...yourself(ish).
Elentir3 (9:32:55 PM): It's like looking in the mirror and seeing a bullet hole in your chest.
EliwoodGabriel (9:34:03 PM): Yeah, and when Bram reveals it was much, much worst, Chrom almost lost his lunch right there.
Elentir3 (9:35:13 PM): Yeah. And of course, Chrom's surely already seen some nasty stuff in his battles. So...yeah, yikes.
EliwoodGabriel (9:35:35 PM): Hell, even Frederick was disturbed.
EliwoodGabriel (9:38:02 PM): I'm still pondering for Henry's reaction when he sees it. People has a bad habit of taking off Bram's shirt.
Elentir3 (9:38:58 PM): Hm...I can imagine he'd be rather impressed.
Elentir3 (9:39:37 PM): "Ooh...got hit bad by a Thoron, did you? Oh, and that one's from a Killing Edge! Neat!"
EliwoodGabriel (9:40:13 PM): Bram will probably be like, "Well, at least he's still Henry..."
EliwoodGabriel (9:43:34 PM): ...OMG. I just realized. CORDELIA'S REACTION.
Elentir3 (9:44:19 PM): Oh God. She's not gonna take it well at all.
Elentir3 (9:44:33 PM): "Chrom...if only I could have been by your side, maybe..."
EliwoodGabriel (9:45:11 PM): "...I'm... I'm not Chrom anymore... Cordelia..."
And he's gonna be just as torned up because he's aware she loves him.
Elentir3 (9:46:09 PM): Yeah. I take it he figured that out as an Observer? 'Cause somehow Chrom seems like the oblivious type.
EliwoodGabriel (9:48:03 PM): Yeah, Bram is much less oblivious than Chrom. Which results in silly moments. "Why couldn't Chrom think up of that?!" "...He's not an Observer? And technically I'm supposed to look older than this.
Elentir3 (9:48:33 PM): Heheh.
EliwoodGabriel (9:49:46 PM): Let me put it this way, there's moments when Chrom's all, "I wish I had Bram's intelligence right now."
Elentir3 (9:49:56 PM): XDDD
EliwoodGabriel (9:51:14 PM): But, yeah. Bram's scars aren't just Nightmare Fuel, they're a big source of Tear Jerkers.
EliwoodGabriel (9:51:24 PM): ...I'm planning on having Emmeryn seeing them.
Elentir3 (9:52:18 PM): Oh my...
EliwoodGabriel (9:53:53 PM): Yeah. She's a little nervous upon seeing Bram, but when he shows his scars... yah.
Even worst still? Lucina and Bram misses each other because she left.
Elentir3 (9:54:37 PM): Right. So she doesn't know he's around for a while?
EliwoodGabriel (9:57:04 PM): Eyup. Had she did stumbled and met Bram... wow.

EliwoodGabriel (8:37:40 PM): You know, I kinda like the whole Q&A on Bram yesterday, that was fun. XP
Elentir3 (8:38:04 PM): Yeah, that was a cool idea. Which reminds me...he has all those spells, which one does he like to use most?
EliwoodGabriel (8:39:11 PM): Eclipse.
Elentir3 (8:39:46 PM): Ahh. I take it he's able to use it fairly accurately? Not even Canas usually managed...
EliwoodGabriel (8:41:19 PM): To put it in perspective, grab Spotpass!Ike, make him a Dread Fighter, max him out, give him magic only, give him the right Skills, and you can get Bram.
Elentir3 (8:41:32 PM): Oh wow.
EliwoodGabriel (8:42:16 PM): Yeah, that's how powerful Bram actually is. ...Which is why he'd be a Spotpass Paralogue level character if he did existed XP
EliwoodGabriel (8:44:32 PM): He's pretty much that uber.
Elentir3 (8:44:47 PM): Quite. Er...yeah, the thought of him using something like Naga (the FE4 version, not the 3000 year old Awakening version) or Gleipnir is pretty scary...
EliwoodGabriel (8:46:39 PM): Which is why Shelley forbade him from carrying it. Of course, when it came to Walhart, Shelley was all like, "Hey, grab your tome and create chaos, Walhart's bound to freak out!"
Elentir3 (8:47:07 PM): Ahhh. Does Shelley have some issue with Walhart?
EliwoodGabriel (8:47:58 PM): His methods of ruling. ...She's not a big fan of conquerors.

EliwoodGabriel (9:32:38 PM): Also, Bram losing his shirt is a running gag in the story.
EliwoodGabriel (9:32:49 PM): Minerva does try to eat it, once. XP
Elentir3 (9:33:02 PM): XDDD
Elentir3 (9:33:41 PM): I can hear Cherce saying "oh, sorry, I feed Minerva my old clothes sometimes. Must make sure she gets enough fiber in her diet!"
Elentir3 (9:33:50 PM): Dead serious, of course.
EliwoodGabriel (9:33:55 PM): AHAHAHA YES.
EliwoodGabriel (9:37:06 PM): And Bram would all be like, "I would PREFER to keep my shirt on, please and thank you. I've frighten enough people with my scars.
Elentir3 (9:38:53 PM): Yeah. And then you can have Minervykins looking all forlorn. Puppy-dog eyes and all.
EliwoodGabriel (9:39:37 PM): And Bram being like, "These are special clothing. You might get indigestion."
Elentir3 (9:40:22 PM): True enough.
EliwoodGabriel (9:42:00 PM): The first time his scars are shown and everyone's all "HOLY SHIT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!" "Oh god I feel sick" "THAT IS GROSS!", he's all quiet and stuff and just rudely says what he wants to say before leaving the area to fix his shirt.
Elentir3 (9:43:01 PM): What do the Mamkutes (I just can't bring myself to use the localization, it's a mental block) think of Bram? They do have a keen sense of smell and extra senses (see Ninian and Nils)
EliwoodGabriel (9:44:32 PM): Well, he doesn't smell "dead", that's for sure, but he doesn't smell "human", either.
Elentir3 (9:45:32 PM): I imagine Tiki might be particularly interested. "I wonder why Mar-Mar couldn't be here to guide us too..."
EliwoodGabriel (9:46:44 PM): Yeah, becoming an Observer is... quite difficult. Since Marth probably died happily, he didn't needed to become one.
Elentir3 (9:47:35 PM): Ahhh. Hm...Sigurd and Hector...
Elentir3 (9:48:06 PM): Especially Sigurd...the situation's very similar...
EliwoodGabriel (9:48:57 PM): ...They could be Observers? I'll have to double-check if they could be around during Bram's time... and figure out names for them...
Elentir3 (9:50:06 PM): Both died mid-war, were great heroes in their own right (Sigurd because of his part of the game, Hector because of FE7) and had to have their children carry on. But I was thinking more of that in your fanfic continuity, they'd played the same role in their own time.
EliwoodGabriel (9:51:10 PM): ...They could!
Elentir3 (9:54:01 PM): Yeah. Just a reference, maybe Frederick saying "there are rumors that ages ago, a man resembling Lord Sigurd was seen in the company of Seliph, the Prince of Light. It's never been comfirmed, though"
Elentir3 (9:54:24 PM): After all, why stop at making changes to Awakening in your story?
EliwoodGabriel (9:56:40 PM): ...Ffff, I could do that! It would make the Observers not seem out of place! ...And considering I'm replacing the Witch God and the other non-Observers in the other version with all Observers in this one, it would work great!
Elentir3 (9:59:36 PM): Yes. Hm...I don't know about FE1 and 3, I never got the impression that Marth's father Cornelius was such a mighty guy, he wasn't a hero in his own right or anything. Hm...but there is Greil...
EliwoodGabriel (10:00:37 PM): Doesn't necessarily need to be men.
Elentir3 (10:01:12 PM): No, but I'm just thinking in the mold of Chrom in Lucina's world, since you mentioned dying with regrets.
EliwoodGabriel (10:01:35 PM): Right...

liwoodGabriel (7:08:19 PM): I know you have to have at least a "death" of regret. Some people can in fact change from mortal to Observer, but that's a rarity.
Elentir3 (7:08:51 PM): Sounds almost like being enlightened?
Elentir3 (7:08:56 PM): The second one.
EliwoodGabriel (7:09:37 PM): Yeah, it's kinda like that. But those who can usually already can use a whole damn lot of magic in the first place.
Elentir3 (7:11:03 PM): Ahhh. Do Observers tend to be focused on magic, in spite of their specialization in life?
EliwoodGabriel (7:14:17 PM): They can still use their usual weapons, it's just that Observers uses magic by default because of the whole "given a different weapon, their Observer attributes multiplies their strength" dilemma. With magic, at lease it won't be AS messy as, say, an axe or an arrow.
Elentir3 (7:15:06 PM): Ahhh.
Elentir3 (7:15:33 PM): I'd guess they're a bit more in tune with the spirits, too?
EliwoodGabriel (7:15:40 PM): Pretty much.
EliwoodGabriel (7:17:11 PM): Bram is pretty much a newborn Observer, so he's pretty weak compared to the rest. ...Yes, I just said he was weak.
Elentir3 (7:17:25 PM): In a comparitive sense.
EliwoodGabriel (7:17:30 PM): Exactly.
Elentir3 (7:17:43 PM): Hm...do only good people become Observers?
EliwoodGabriel (7:19:24 PM): Observers cares about the mortal world and to protect them. So, really, it depends on the definition of "good".
Elentir3 (7:20:52 PM): Ahh.
EliwoodGabriel (7:21:15 PM): Also they don't appreciate people like Grima who tries to be god.
Elentir3 (7:21:50 PM): Ahh.
EliwoodGabriel (7:22:19 PM): I am very tempted to make Arvis one of Bram's superiors. XP
Elentir3 (7:22:34 PM): That would be very appropriate.
Elentir3 (7:23:43 PM): Arvis and Sigurd as Observers...now that would be interesting...
EliwoodGabriel (7:24:48 PM): Ffffff... I wonder if I should add Diardre in the mix. It would prove to be interesting...
Elentir3 (7:25:50 PM): Oh my...
Elentir3 (7:26:30 PM): All three did die tragically with a lot of regrets and unfinished business...
EliwoodGabriel (7:26:42 PM): Yes.
EliwoodGabriel (7:28:16 PM): And now I can see her knocking the two men's head together when they're being insufferable. XP
Elentir3 (7:28:58 PM): Her red husband and her blue husband...
EliwoodGabriel (7:29:22 PM): Red Oni, Blue Oni... Bram will probably lampshade that. XP
Elentir3 (7:30:53 PM): Except Sigurd would probably be a bit more hot-headed of the two..
EliwoodGabriel (7:31:02 PM): Yeah, probably. XP
EliwoodGabriel (7:38:19 PM): Pffft, Bram is hilarious.
Elentir3 (7:38:28 PM): Hm?
EliwoodGabriel (7:38:30 PM): Bram: *The sound of an object hitting something is heard* Bullseye.
Chrom: ...Why are you throwing tomes at that tree?
Bram: By the Observers' code, I'm not really permitted to use a weapon unless provoked. However, there is a loophole, in which the weapon has to be used as it's meant to work as. Therefor, throwing a tome at someone isn't against code.
Chrom: And that's useful how?
Elentir3 (7:38:53 PM): XDDD
Elentir3 (7:39:11 PM): Well, if it has metal edges like some antique books...
Elentir3 (7:39:44 PM): Come to think of it, my Complete H.P. Lovecraft would probably be a lethal weapon in its own right, if you have the muscle to throw it.
EliwoodGabriel (7:39:51 PM): Hahahaha... yeah. XP
Elentir3 (7:40:02 PM): To say nothing of the complete and annotated works of Shakespeare...
EliwoodGabriel (7:40:33 PM): ...Holy shit, if there's a tome that size in FE...
Elentir3 (7:41:05 PM): Hm...well, that could explain the "weight stat" in pre-FE12 tomes. Though how that would impede casting twice, I don't know.
EliwoodGabriel (7:41:51 PM): Good question.
Elentir3 (7:42:25 PM): Then again, the Validar/Chrom fight in the opening chapter implies that mages fight a bit more kinetically than the battle animations imply.
EliwoodGabriel (7:42:38 PM): Yeah.
Elentir3 (7:49:06 PM): I guess he could also use arrows as point-blank stabbing weapons, if necessary. That'd be another loophole.
EliwoodGabriel (7:49:16 PM): That too!
EliwoodGabriel (7:49:45 PM): Bram:I WILL POKE YOUR EYES OUT, *censored by Chrom's WHAAAAAAAAT?*
Elentir3 (7:50:35 PM): XD
EliwoodGabriel (7:51:13 PM): Seriously, it's freaking hilarious when Bram's angry and he's not with a weapon. XP
Elentir3 (7:52:50 PM): "I cannot use Falchion...but nobody said anything about hitting you with the scabbard.."
EliwoodGabriel (7:53:09 PM): ...CAN I USE IT FOR MY CHROM AND BRAM SUPPORT?!
Elentir3 (7:53:14 PM): Be my guest!
EliwoodGabriel (7:53:19 PM): THANK YOU~!
Elentir3 (7:53:28 PM): Glad to be of service.

EliwoodGabriel (8:36:37 PM): I doubt a tome like Bram's could exist in FE.
EliwoodGabriel (8:36:45 PM): ...FE X SMT, however...
Elentir3 (8:37:01 PM): Nah, aside from being too broken, it'd have to incorporate too many disparate elements.
Elentir3 (8:37:13 PM): Yeah, I'm very curious as to how that will turn out.
EliwoodGabriel (8:38:51 PM): Yeah. ...If anything, Bram would probably like the Bonus Boss in Persona 3/4.
Elentir3 (8:39:04 PM): Hm...yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (8:40:46 PM): ...Bram taking care of a drunken Chrom.
EliwoodGabriel (8:41:31 PM): I dunno why I wrote that.
Elentir3 (8:41:41 PM): Just popped out of your head?
EliwoodGabriel (8:41:51 PM): Yah.
Elentir3 (8:42:45 PM): It happens.
EliwoodGabriel (8:43:00 PM): What do you think could happen?
Elentir3 (8:44:10 PM): I dunno...I can hear him saying "wait 'till you get the hangover, I can still almost feel it..."
EliwoodGabriel (8:45:01 PM): ...Because Bram can't get drunk?
Elentir3 (8:45:22 PM): No, because Bram remembers it.
EliwoodGabriel (8:45:36 PM): He remembers being hangover?
Elentir3 (8:46:08 PM): Yeah. Hm...not sure I can see Chrom just getting drunk...maybe Vaike challenged him to a drinking competition...
Elentir3 (8:46:22 PM): Oh, excuse me, the Vaike.
EliwoodGabriel (8:46:23 PM): That sounds very legit.

Elentir3 (1:22:49 PM): I was thinking more about your Drunk Chrom and Bram scenario.
EliwoodGabriel (1:23:01 PM): Ahahahaha... yes?
Elentir3 (1:23:37 PM): Chrom: Oh godsh. Thish ish how I died, ishn't it?
Elentir3 (1:26:46 PM): Bram: No, but you'll wish you did when you feel tomorrow's hangover.
EliwoodGabriel (1:26:59 PM): *rolls on the floor*
Elentir3 (1:29:50 PM): I thought you'd like that.
EliwoodGabriel (1:30:13 PM): Cue the next day...
Elentir3 (1:30:56 PM): Chrom: ...Robin, don't walk so loud... Robin: I'm standing still! Chrom: ...Then don't stand so loud...
EliwoodGabriel (1:32:15 PM): Bram: Go to bed, Chrom.
Elentir3 (1:32:49 PM): Chrom: ...The right bed or the left bed?
EliwoodGabriel (1:33:09 PM): Bram: *sighs* Frederick, we've got a problem.
Elentir3 (1:33:29 PM): Heheh...
EliwoodGabriel (1:35:33 PM): Bram: If you throw up, I'm gonna kick your arse once you feel better. I told you not to take that many drinks!
Elentir3 (1:36:24 PM): Lucina: I guess this time we couldn't stop the past from repeating itself...
Elentir3 (1:36:47 PM): (In reference to Bram having gone through this in his timeline, of course)
EliwoodGabriel (1:39:19 PM): Bram: Unfortunately. *sighs* Lucina? Grab me some Sweet Tincture. He'll probably need to wash his mouth.
(Because I like to give vulneraries and other healing items alternate uses.)
Elentir3 (1:39:55 PM): Aha. Clever. Might chip off 10 HP too (headache points)
EliwoodGabriel (1:40:04 PM): *laughs* YES.
EliwoodGabriel (1:41:59 PM): Bram: Vaike? We need to talk.
Elentir3 (1:43:13 PM): Vaike: Heheh...Chrom can't handle his *hic* Feroxi vodka...heheh...
EliwoodGabriel (1:44:09 PM): Bram: ...*smacks Vaike with a random tome*
Elentir3 (1:45:08 PM): Miriel: *sigh* If you must, please be sure to return it to its proper section when you're done.
EliwoodGabriel (1:45:48 PM): Bram: ...You mean my bag?
Elentir3 (1:47:25 PM): Miriel. Yes. I took the time to sort them by element, strength and remaining capacity.
Elentir3 (1:48:02 PM): (I can actually imagine Miriel, who as far as I know never really gave Chrom the time of day, being very interested in Bram. Academically, of course)
EliwoodGabriel (1:48:16 PM): Bram: ...Uh, thank you?
(Yeah, that DOES makes sense. XP)
Elentir3 (1:49:00 PM): Miriel: In return, please allow me to observe the next time you cast a spell. I have a hypothesis that magic might respond differently for you than to mortal practitioners.
EliwoodGabriel (1:49:52 PM): Bram: Oh, certainly.
Elentir3 (1:50:25 PM): Henry: *pops out of nowhere* Let me watch too! I bet it'll be really bloody!
EliwoodGabriel (1:50:44 PM): Bram: Ah! Henry?!
Elentir3 (1:51:41 PM): Chrom: *from the floor* ...I'm shtill here, you know...
EliwoodGabriel (1:52:05 PM): Bram: ...Chrom, get up.
Elentir3 (1:52:58 PM): (Meanwhile, Kellam's just there. As always). Chrom: I am up! You're the onesh...laying down...
EliwoodGabriel (1:53:59 PM): Bram: *facepalm* ...Gods, help us...
Elentir3 (1:54:55 PM): Heheh. That was amusing.
EliwoodGabriel (1:55:08 PM): I can also see Lucina drunk.\
Elentir3 (1:55:25 PM): Yeah. And all that pent-up anger and regret would come right out.
Elentir3 (1:55:39 PM): Whereas I see Chrom as a sloppy drunk and Vaike as a happy drunk.

EliwoodGabriel (3:49:01 PM): ALso, I realized yesterday- Tharja can't curse Bram, he's "divine". XP
Elentir3 (3:49:51 PM): Makes sense. Plus, she said curses don't work on somebody with a stronger will.
Elentir3 (3:50:20 PM): Chrom is very resolved, so I imagine Bram would be even harder anyway.
EliwoodGabriel (3:54:42 PM): Yeeeeah you don't mess with Bram or his family.
An enemy tried to sneak attack on Morgan, he crit-Ruin the guy.
"You said you don't attack unless provoked!" "And I was." "*edges away from Bram*"
Elentir3 (3:55:00 PM): Oh boy.
EliwoodGabriel (3:55:37 PM): Tharja even says Bram scares the shit outta her.
Elentir3 (3:55:59 PM): Oh, wow. What about Henry?
EliwoodGabriel (3:56:53 PM): Henry fanboys him. XPO
Elentir3 (3:57:22 PM): That's what I thought.
EliwoodGabriel (3:58:09 PM): And they hang out together and pet kitties.
Elentir3 (3:58:33 PM): Heheheh.
EliwoodGabriel (4:02:38 PM): I dunno, but the image of Bram being a cat lover makes him adorkable.
Elentir3 (4:03:05 PM): Heh, yeah, it does.
EliwoodGabriel (4:03:48 PM): "KITTIES!" "Bram, no. You keep on adopting them. The people needs mousers." "Can't I at least pet them?"
Elentir3 (4:04:05 PM): ...Sounds like me! XD
EliwoodGabriel (4:04:13 PM): Hahahaha...
Elentir3 (4:04:34 PM): ...Lots of people say cats are closer to the spirit world, so I can see them having an affinity for him too.
EliwoodGabriel (4:04:57 PM): Yeah.
Elentir3 (4:07:16 PM): Now I've got an image of Bram walking down a street with a bunch of cats following him.
EliwoodGabriel (4:08:04 PM): And Chrom facepalming upon seeing it. XP
Elentir3 (4:08:19 PM): XD
Elentir3 (4:08:34 PM): Would be funny of Chrom were more of a dog person.
EliwoodGabriel (4:08:54 PM): Yeah, that would make sense.
EliwoodGabriel (4:13:53 PM): ...Chrom wakes up one day covered in cats. "BRAAAAM!"
Elentir3 (4:43:49 PM): XDDD
EliwoodGabriel (4:52:48 PM): Bram is pretty much a quieter and smarter Chrom, that when he does silly things, it's VERY noticable.
Elentir3 (4:53:19 PM): Ahh. Which he does, because he's written by you XD
EliwoodGabriel (4:54:28 PM): Hahahaha, true.

Elentir3 (4:22:36 PM): Well, after playing this week's Spotpass Paralogue...what'll Bram's reaction be when they find Emm? She really did die in his time, after all.
EliwoodGabriel (4:23:49 PM): Effing thorned up like woah.
Elentir3 (4:27:22 PM): Yeah. I still wanna know how she survived...
Elentir3 (4:27:44 PM): Honestly, I wonder about the enemies too. Doesn't anybody in Chrom's company know how to check a corpse?
EliwoodGabriel (4:33:16 PM): I'm of the idea that Chrom lets his enemies bleed to death because that guy is totally not 100% sane.
Elentir3 (4:34:00 PM): Heheh, could be. I still say that Aum and Valkyrie are not accounted for...
EliwoodGabriel (4:34:32 PM): True.
Elentir3 (4:34:49 PM): Somebody might be stalking Chrom & co., resurrecting people who may be potential allies later.
Elentir3 (4:35:05 PM): If that's the case, I guess Emm's cranial trauma was too severe even for the ultimate magic.
EliwoodGabriel (4:36:05 PM): Yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (4:39:24 PM): ...Bram BSODs when they find Emm. Like, it's bad.
Elentir3 (4:39:56 PM): ...And by that point Gangrel's already joined the company...uh-oh...
Elentir3 (4:40:15 PM): "YOU! Look at what you've done to her!"
EliwoodGabriel (4:44:30 PM): Gangrel would be all like, "WHAT HAVE I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE" because he's got issues now.
Elentir3 (4:45:29 PM): Yeah, he's very guilty. Hm...I can see Bram getting ready to throw the biggest tome he has at Gangrel, but Emm grabbing his arm and just shaking her head...
EliwoodGabriel (4:45:45 PM): YES. That's when he BSOD.
Elentir3 (4:46:44 PM): *nod*
EliwoodGabriel (4:50:01 PM): Poor Bram. He's got issues.
Elentir3 (4:50:57 PM): Yeah. Being killed by your wife, who goes on to destroy the world, tends to do that...
EliwoodGabriel (4:52:46 PM): *pats Bram on the head*
Elentir3 (4:57:58 PM): Does anybody kind of avoid Bram because they find having a second Chrom creepy?
EliwoodGabriel (5:01:50 PM): Some, yes. ...Like Tharja, for one.
Elentir3 (5:02:46 PM): Ah, is that so? Interesting.
Elentir3 (5:10:36 PM): Hm...it'd be funny if Bram always notices Kellam because of heightened senses or something.
EliwoodGabriel (5:11:28 PM): That does make sense.
Elentir3 (5:11:51 PM): Yeah. Maybe he even just senses Kellam's spirit or something.
EliwoodGabriel (5:12:31 PM): Yeah.

EliwoodGabriel (8:41:54 PM): Then we have Bram, who lives in a rather steampunk-ish observatory...
Elentir3 (8:42:58 PM): Ah, does he?
EliwoodGabriel (8:43:50 PM): Well, not too steampunk, but enough to make anyone who sets foot there feel like they're going inside another world, which is what the Observatory is.

Elentir3 (4:31:18 PM): Question: Is Bram going to attend Chrom and Robin's wedding?
EliwoodGabriel (4:31:33 PM): In secret, but yes.
Elentir3 (4:32:25 PM): Ah. I was thinking of an episode of Doctor Who where somebody is in the same place and time from two different perspectives at once, and it occured to me that it might happen at the Royal Wedding in your fanfic.
Elentir3 (4:34:29 PM): The quote in question is "Yes. She was there. River Song came twice". It just set off the FE thought in my head.
EliwoodGabriel (4:36:04 PM): Aaaaahhhh.
Elentir3 (4:37:21 PM): Am I right in assuming Bram may have to wear a cloak a lot? I know Chrom's inner circle (the playable characters) will know, but having two Chroms isn't something you can really make public.
EliwoodGabriel (4:38:21 PM): Bram knows how to blend himself in a crowd unnoticed, Kellam gave him some tips. XP
Elentir3 (4:38:30 PM): XD
Elentir3 (4:38:56 PM): He can probably use a bit of magic to make himself less noticeable, I'd imagine.
EliwoodGabriel (4:40:19 PM): Yeah, he might.
Elentir3 (4:40:56 PM): Just a simple thing to make the average eye kinda slide over him, if you will. At least that's how I see it working.
EliwoodGabriel (4:43:36 PM): Bram is much more clever than Chrom by nature. XP
Elentir3 (4:44:01 PM): Yeah. Age, experience and death will do that.
EliwoodGabriel (4:44:57 PM): Pfft! True.

Elentir3 (2:33:19 PM): I was wondering...you said Bram can use items in a way other than they're intended...does that mean he might be able to utilize the Branch, Log an Ladle effectively?
EliwoodGabriel (2:33:47 PM): Yep.
Elentir3 (2:35:10 PM): I can see it now Libra:...What's this? Oh, Naga be praised! ...A stick. Bram: Gimme!
EliwoodGabriel (2:35:27 PM): Ffffffffff YES.
Elentir3 (2:35:36 PM): I love how he enthusiastic some of them are when they get trash.
Elentir3 (2:36:00 PM): I mean, finding Hector's Axe is one thing. Finding a ladle in a patch of grass is another.
EliwoodGabriel (2:36:07 PM): Ffff yeah. XP
EliwoodGabriel (2:37:54 PM): And knowing Bram, he could probably throw a ladle at someone. Xp
Elentir3 (2:38:30 PM): Y'know, when playing I kinda thought "this should have 1~2 range" about it.
EliwoodGabriel (2:38:41 PM): Fffff, so true.

EliwoodGabriel (5:06:05 PM): With Bram noticing her while watching the others as well, if we're talking the Réveille/Destati series.
Elentir3 (5:06:14 PM): Oh, yes, of course.
EliwoodGabriel (5:06:35 PM): "...My baby girl's here... my baby girl's here!"
Elentir3 (5:08:25 PM): Yep.
Elentir3 (5:09:47 PM): Hm...it'd be interesting if somebody overheard him, and he had to swear them to secrecy.
EliwoodGabriel (5:11:54 PM): Well, he was actually thinking that.
Elentir3 (5:12:42 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (5:13:12 PM): ...Still don't know when Bram will introduce himself to Lucina.
Elentir3 (5:13:40 PM): Hmm...
EliwoodGabriel (5:14:18 PM): It's after Lucina reveals herself- oh, wait! When they find Morgan!
Elentir3 (5:14:36 PM): Oh, there we go!
EliwoodGabriel (5:14:41 PM): YES.
EliwoodGabriel (5:15:04 PM): Bram find Morgan, and both tries to fight off the Risen in the Ruins. THAT'S how Lucina meets Bram!
Elentir3 (5:15:20 PM): I like it!
EliwoodGabriel (5:19:33 PM): Also would bring the "I was provoked into attacking because my son was in danger" thing that scares a few people.
Elentir3 (5:19:50 PM): Oh, yeah!
Elentir3 (5:20:47 PM): ...I wonder if, since Morgan's from a totally different timeline than the others, Bram would intervene more regarding him...
Elentir3 (5:21:04 PM): Like some sort of weird loophole.
EliwoodGabriel (5:22:04 PM): Yeah, Bram's not even sure as to what happened to the Morgan of his timeline.
Elentir3 (5:23:03 PM): Who I've always imagined may've been born right before the last fight with Validar, since things in that timeline went a bit longer.
EliwoodGabriel (5:23:47 PM): Yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (5:28:49 PM): The introduction, I can see it right now.
EliwoodGabriel (5:29:27 PM): Bram: *roasts an enemy* STEP AWAY FROM MY SON!
EliwoodGabriel (5:30:02 PM): Chrom: Wait whut.
Lucina: Morgan? But... who's that- FATHER?!
Chrom: ...My ears...
Elentir3 (5:31:34 PM): Hm...for added effect, maybe the roasting spell would be Valflame or Forblaze. Just to show how much business he means.
EliwoodGabriel (5:31:57 PM): ...Cymbeline.
Elentir3 (5:32:43 PM): Oooh, there's an idea!
EliwoodGabriel (5:34:41 PM): ...He's carrying his ubertome.
Elentir3 (5:34:52 PM): Yep.
EliwoodGabriel (5:35:13 PM): That would be a great cause for alarm for Chrom, because if he's got it out, there's a big reason why.
Elentir3 (5:36:14 PM): Exactly.
EliwoodGabriel (5:37:31 PM): Lucina: ...You're...
Bram: ...What was once your father, yes. I... don't deserve to hear you call me that. I failed you, left you all alone, I caused so much trouble... no father should do this to their daughter.
Elentir3 (5:40:11 PM): Yeah. And Morgan, who's so carefree, would just be like "yay, I have two Dads!"
EliwoodGabriel (5:40:35 PM): Cue Chrom's facepalm.
Elentir3 (5:41:57 PM): ...That'd actually mean both timelines' versions of his parents are all in the same world at once. Yeesh.
EliwoodGabriel (5:42:11 PM): Yeah, it's kinda crazy/
EliwoodGabriel (5:42:34 PM): Then again, they can talk to Sigurd, Arvis and Dierdre anytime they want.
Elentir3 (5:43:37 PM): Aha. I can imagine Alvis and Dierdre being very sympathetic to the cause, since what happened to Robin also happened to their son.
EliwoodGabriel (5:43:52 PM): Yup.
Elentir3 (5:44:21 PM): I mean, it was Julius who killed Dierdre, so she'd really get how Bram feels to have been killed by his beloved.
EliwoodGabriel (5:44:29 PM): Right.
Elentir3 (5:46:22 PM): I take it Bram sometimes gets frustrated in the limits he has imposed on him?
EliwoodGabriel (5:46:35 PM): on himself?
Elentir3 (5:46:59 PM): On how much he can and can't do, yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (5:47:47 PM): Mostly when things happen horribly, aka Emmeryn's fall. You thought Chrom didn't took it well? Bram took it even WORST.
Elentir3 (5:48:30 PM): Yeeeah, I'm sure. Especially since, come to think of it, he probably didn't actually see it happen in the original timeline, having been attacked by that assassin himself.
EliwoodGabriel (5:48:36 PM): Exactly.
Elentir3 (5:48:42 PM): It's one thing to know something, another altogether to watch it.
EliwoodGabriel (5:49:09 PM): Especially when there was a chance she could've survived if the plan wasn't screwed up by the Risen.
Elentir3 (5:50:09 PM): Yes, exactly. And Bram would've been able to wipe 'em all out with Ivaldi or something if he were allowed to.
EliwoodGabriel (5:50:42 PM): Exactly.
Elentir3 (5:51:38 PM): Hell, there's a spell in FE2 called Dear or Dia (meaning Day) that specifically wipes out monsters in the area. But his hands are tied.
EliwoodGabriel (5:52:36 PM): Eeyup. Hell, Shelley herself was horrifed when she learned about what happened and thought she should've let Bram use his tome, but it was too late by the time she meets with them.
Elentir3 (5:53:20 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (5:54:36 PM): Yeah. Bram was freaking silent the whole time.
Elentir3 (5:54:53 PM): Just kinda stunned?
EliwoodGabriel (5:55:29 PM): Yeah, he was stunned... and his scars were aching.
Elentir3 (5:56:25 PM): Ahhh. Does that happen in periods of stress?
EliwoodGabriel (5:57:28 PM): If it ties to emotional reactions to a memory related to his scars? Eeyup.
EliwoodGabriel (5:57:47 PM): It's only the scars he received when his Emmeryn was killed that ached.
Elentir3 (5:58:09 PM): Ahhh. Whereas in the battle with Validar, it'll be the Thoron scar?
EliwoodGabriel (5:59:29 PM): Uh huh.
Elentir3 (6:00:01 PM): Gotcha. That makes sense.
EliwoodGabriel (6:02:00 PM): Bram: ...If this thing starts glowing, Shelley...
Shelley: Why would it glow?
Bram: ...Because we're divine?
Shelley: *facepalm*
Elentir3 (6:02:32 PM): XD
Elentir3 (6:02:53 PM): Hey, in a lot of places that'd be true, I guess.

EliwoodGabriel (7:18:06 PM): Ffff, that reminds me, Bram's hat would look strange for everyone.
Elentir3 (7:18:33 PM): His hat...my memory's farting, what kind of hat is it?
*I've send him the image again*
Elentir3 (7:20:09 PM): Ah, yes. That's quite a hat.
EliwoodGabriel (7:20:22 PM): Except the butterfly part will look more like the ones in the opening sequence.
Elentir3 (7:20:43 PM): Ahhh. Neat idea.
EliwoodGabriel (7:21:49 PM): Yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (7:23:47 PM): But yeah, Bram's got an interesting hat.
Elentir3 (7:24:44 PM): Hey, if you've gotta die a grisly, heartbreaking death, you should at least get a cool hat out of it.
EliwoodGabriel (7:25:10 PM): And nifty powers.
Elentir3 (7:25:32 PM): Powers, schmowers. I want a neat hat when I die.
EliwoodGabriel (7:26:05 PM): *cracks up*

EliwoodGabriel (7:48:22 PM): Bran being a papa wolf cracks me up. ...It kinda makes me think Tharja would NOT risk hexxing Robin if he's around. XP
Elentir3 (7:48:43 PM): Yeah. I don't see Tharja intimidating easily, but he'd do the trick.
EliwoodGabriel (7:55:05 PM): Considering he freaking fell a rather large group of Risen with only a Wind tome, yeah, she would be.
Elentir3 (7:57:11 PM): Yeah, that's definitely pretty scary.
EliwoodGabriel (7:58:12 PM): It's funny that Henry's just good buds with him. Then again, Bram likes kitties, so maybe that's why?
Elentir3 (7:59:21 PM): Plus, nothing seems to ruffle Henry's feathers, so to speak.
EliwoodGabriel (8:00:01 PM): Yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (8:00:24 PM): He was probably all, "DO THAT AGAIN! THAT WAS AWESOME! THAT WAS AWESOME~~!
Elentir3 (8:01:11 PM): Oh, for sure.
EliwoodGabriel (8:02:31 PM): Chrom: No, Henry, I don't think the Risen are housebroken.
Elentir3 (8:05:11 PM): XD
EliwoodGabriel (8:05:37 PM): Bram: They're not, Henry. Sorry.
Elentir3 (8:07:05 PM): Henry: I could build it a little zombiehouse, and I promise I'd clean up after it!
EliwoodGabriel (8:07:25 PM): Bram: ...A zombie house?
Elentir3 (8:08:18 PM): Henry: Like a doghouse, but bigger! And instead of bones, you throw in the occasional severed limb!
EliwoodGabriel (8:11:04 PM): Bram: ...Still think it's a bad idea.
Elentir3 (8:11:39 PM): Henry: C'mon...just a little one? Maybe we'll start with one that doesn't have arms, just as a test
EliwoodGabriel (8:12:13 PM): Bram: ...Where are you going to find that?
Elentir3 (8:13:28 PM): Henry: Oh, just have Chrom ask Frederick to chop 'em off! He'll do whatever he's asked, won't he?
EliwoodGabriel (8:15:31 PM): Chrom: ...I think Fred would rather use it as firewood, Henry.

EliwoodGabriel (8:59:08 PM): ...Now I wonder how Lucina will react upon seeing Bram's scars.
Elentir3 (8:59:35 PM): Oh God. Very badly.
EliwoodGabriel (8:59:53 PM): Yeah, I kinda figured, but how badly, I have no clue.
Elentir3 (9:01:29 PM): Hm, yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (9:03:09 PM): And I can imagine, once everyone knows about Bram, someone stealing his shirt so they can see his scars again.
Elentir3 (9:03:33 PM): Hm...Henry might. He probably likes 'em.
EliwoodGabriel (9:03:44 PM): FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF YES.
EliwoodGabriel (9:04:49 PM): Bram: ...Henry, where's my shirt.
Elentir3 (9:08:32 PM): XD
EliwoodGabriel (9:09:04 PM): Bram: UNLIKE YOU I HATE MY SCARS, 'KAY?
EliwoodGabriel (9:10:34 PM): Chrom: *tosses his cape*
Bram: ...THAT WON'T HELP!
Elentir3 (9:11:30 PM): Heheh.
EliwoodGabriel (9:12:11 PM): Yeah, he's very self-conscious about his scars, since they mean pretty negative things for him.

*NOT BRAM-RELATED, but...*
EliwoodGabriel (6:40:52 PM): ...ANYWAY, I'm thinking of alternate uses for healing potions and stuff. Sweet Tincture is mouthwash, and can also be used as a contraceptive.
Elentir3 (6:41:22 PM): Elixirs might be used for preserving food, though that'd be expensive.
Elentir3 (6:41:57 PM): Or in Tharja's case, magical ingredients.
Elentir3 (6:43:04 PM): Robin: Tharja, we seem to be missing some Elixirs. Do you know where they've been going? Tharja: Heheh...how do you think I keep my newt eyes fresh?
EliwoodGabriel (6:44:02 PM): Pffft I was going with Pure Water in that case. XP
Elentir3 (6:44:45 PM): Hm...perhaps.
EliwoodGabriel (6:45:04 PM): Vulnerary doubles as lubrecants for... erm.
Elentir3 (6:46:22 PM): Yep.
EliwoodGabriel (6:47:05 PM): I just thought, since it's easy to get some...
Elentir3 (6:47:26 PM): Yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (6:48:02 PM): So whenever they get a rather large surplus, Chrom and Robin takes advantage.

EliwoodGabriel (8:33:38 PM): ...You know, per the Observers' Code, that means Bram could wield a stool as his weapon.
Elentir3 (8:34:23 PM): He certainly could.
EliwoodGabriel (8:34:48 PM): He probably took lessons from one of my other FE characters XP
Elentir3 (8:35:57 PM): Oh?
EliwoodGabriel (8:38:05 PM): Mieke Dayen, daughter of noble pirates, queen of bar brawling despite being small. XP
Elentir3 (8:38:44 PM): Ahh.
Elentir3 (8:38:54 PM): Interesting name.
EliwoodGabriel (8:41:03 PM): She's pretty special because she's my first Fire Emblem OC.
Elentir3 (8:41:26 PM): Oh, cool. Elibe?
EliwoodGabriel (8:44:11 PM): Eyup. She was the tactician.
Elentir3 (8:44:45 PM): Aha!
Elentir3 (8:45:07 PM): ...You should totally do an Awakening file with her as Avatar, then!
EliwoodGabriel (8:45:58 PM): Who should I pair her up with, thought? She's got more chemestry with weapons than humans.
Elentir3 (8:46:18 PM): ...If that's the case, Owain or Priam XD
EliwoodGabriel (8:47:26 PM): Then that would make me have two people end up with Priam. X{
Elentir3 (8:48:12 PM): Ahhh.
EliwoodGabriel (8:50:28 PM): And Mieke would end up being the same as me, except with different stats choice and a different face.
Elentir3 (8:51:20 PM): I see.
EliwoodGabriel (8:54:22 PM): Pretty much.
Elentir3 (8:56:11 PM): You're the queen of bar brawls, eh? Heheh.
EliwoodGabriel (8:56:46 PM): Nah, that developped when I brought her into the Skies of Arcadia fandom... and it stuck.
Elentir3 (8:56:55 PM): Ahhhh.
EliwoodGabriel (8:57:47 PM): I don't go to bars often, and I sure don't start brawls, lol. I don't even think alcohol. XP
EliwoodGabriel (8:57:53 PM): ...drink
Elentir3 (8:59:03 PM): Yeah, I kinda thought you'd said that, it's kinda what prompted the joke.
EliwoodGabriel (8:59:19 PM): Aaah.
EliwoodGabriel (8:59:32 PM): I can see Chrom stopping bar brawls. Xp
Elentir3 (9:00:59 PM): Yeah, me too.
EliwoodGabriel (9:01:51 PM): Even when he's drunk. XP
Elentir3 (9:06:50 PM): Perhaps even moreso when he's drunk.
EliwoodGabriel (9:13:34 PM): Pfft! He does he do that?! XD
Elentir3 (9:18:04 PM): Huh?
EliwoodGabriel (9:18:28 PM): Stopping bar brawls when he's drunk? Is he more agressive or what?
Elentir3 (9:19:00 PM): I'd imagine he's even less likely to put up with any crap.
EliwoodGabriel (9:19:14 PM): True, true.
EliwoodGabriel (9:22:14 PM): You don't piss off the guy with the Falchion, after all.
Elentir3 (9:22:42 PM): True enough.
EliwoodGabriel (9:24:06 PM): And you do not want to piss off Bram, either.
Elentir3 (9:24:53 PM): Oh, definitely not!
Elentir3 (9:24:59 PM): Is Bram capable of getting drunk?
EliwoodGabriel (9:25:51 PM): Let's just say a man would die of alcohol poisoning and a dragon would be drunk like a skunk before he starts feeling any effects.
Elentir3 (9:28:02 PM): Wooow.
Elentir3 (9:28:21 PM): In other words, he'd be drinking by the tubful.
EliwoodGabriel (9:28:30 PM): Exactly.
EliwoodGabriel (9:28:50 PM): And by a man, I mean a man who can tolerate alcohol far more than the average man.
Elentir3 (9:28:56 PM): Yeah.
EliwoodGabriel (9:30:11 PM): So, there's a scene where someone presents Chrom a gargleblaster, and Bram just takes it and slurps it up and just... walks away.
Elentir3 (9:30:43 PM): I had to look that up.
EliwoodGabriel (9:32:54 PM): Basilio: ...What just happened?
Vaike: *stares at his drink* ...Yeah, Teach's got nothing on him.
Chrom: ...*just looks around, confused as hell*
Elentir3 (9:33:40 PM): XD
EliwoodGabriel (9:34:06 PM): Bram: Could've used more Valmese vodka. Oh well.
Elentir3 (9:50:04 PM): Oh my.
Elentir3 (9:50:41 PM): And if this is at a pub instead of a "bring your own booze" type of thing, the owner'll be just rubbing his hands with excitement.
EliwoodGabriel (9:51:49 PM): He would LOVE Bram because Bram has access to Risen gold all the time.
Elentir3 (9:53:24 PM): Ahhh. I was thinking, a night of drinks with Bram could bankrupt the royal coffers.
EliwoodGabriel (9:54:22 PM): Bram's not that mean with Chrom. XP
EliwoodGabriel (9:57:52 PM): And most of the times Bram's not interested in drinking, so when he brings out the Risen gold...
