Miroir drabbles? ...Maybe.
Jan. 28th, 2014 01:16 amLooking over the outfit given to him in the mirror, he then realized he's never seen his own face before. He knew he was identical to Pit, and he knew that he has black hair and dark teal wings compared to brown hair and pure white wings. But actually seeing himself, the resemblance and the difference, was phenomenal; especially when discovering that instead of those mood reflecting blue eyes, Dark Pit had striking red eyes that shined in the sunlight like a ruby star gemstone.
"Enjoying the view?"
He turned to face the young woman. "Never saw my reflection before," he noted. "I didn't knew my eyes were actually red. I thought they were bloodshot for a while."
"Nah, you have genuine ones, kiddo. And it's not that uncommon, either." Kallistrate shifted her weight. "The same red eyes as Pit's gramps on his mom's side. I'd bet he'd be real glad of that!"
"Why do you think he'd be happy for a guy like me? I-"
"Hold the phone, kiddo." She crossed her arms. "If this is about the way you came alive, you're being stupid. They're not going to care. If you're an angel, you're welcome with open arms." She sighed. "After everything they went through, you're a breath of fresh air. You're good news. You're a glimmer of hope for them."
He shook his head. "You sound way too certain."
"I'm a good two centuries older than you are, I think I know what I'm talking about." She then looked away. "At the very least, I do hope that, when you do meet them, you're a whole lot more sociable than Pit ever was."
"Wait." He frowned. "Did I just heard that right? He's not... sociable?!"
"Let me put it this way- while my issues can be considered somewhat more serious, at the very least I'm able to confront them head-on thanks to the support I'm given. Pit, well... he's got none of that because he keeps it all inside and doesn't want anybody else get dragged into his misery."
