Chapter 33's title is taken from "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence
ONE OF MY BIGGEST PET PEEVES IS CALLING THIS SONG "WAKE ME UP INSIDE". (cough) Okay but listen, I think I was big into Melee when this album came out. Surely some fans made Melee AMVs to this song using Marth.
I always like writing battle planning, and this one is no exception. And if you think my Melee mention beforehand was just random... NOPE, MARTH MELEE GRAB REFERENCE. And of course it was towards Wolf, Sara and I thought it made the most sense.
Speaking of Wolf, yeah he's gonna be belligerent in wanting to do things his way, as expected. There's a certain fun in exploring that part of Wolf I can't describe...
God I love Marth and Michalis' convo here. I love the changes we did to Michalis, it's a fun alternate approach to him. Especially with what we planned for him.
MAIA LORE MAIA LORE MAIA LORE. While reviewing Leif's wiki pages, I check on the Gáe Blog, and it's also known as the Earth Lance... of course the gears in my brain started to turn, and it would make sense on a narrative level to explain just how powerful Maia is that she's one of the Twelve Dragons of Jugdralian history... and I go with the idea that Bantu was Salamander. Maia was a teenager at the time, too.
Sirius and Wolf. I love how Sirius' character development works here, and how Marth sides with him! He's not entirely forgiven but Marth has seen first-hand how much he's changed! I love this final paragraph because it goes full circle for Sirius and I LOVE IT!
