More Priam/FEA!Melanie stuff? Sure!
Apr. 22nd, 2013 12:07 am"Show me."
Priam merely stared at her. "Show you what?"
Mellie tapped the tip of her Mend staff against her palm. "Don't play pretend- I know you're wounded at your abdomen. Quick dress-up of bandages, no healing potion with you, and your opponent was using a reforged Killing Edge." His eyes widen at her words."Did you seriously not noticed me scouting beyond camp on Amiti, or you just didn't recognize her?"
He paused. "So while I was bandaging myself, that cry I heard was from Amiti. That explains everything."
"Right. And as a healer here, my main priority is to make sure everyone's in tip-top shape. And that?" She pointed her staff at him. "That means you're removing your armor and your shirt so I can examine you wounds."
He smirked. "Are you sure you can handle the sight of my naked chest, Princess?"
"Please. I've seen many naked chests, in this world and in the Outrealms, including all of Chrom's body. You're not the first."
~~~~~~
When he came to, he realized he wasn't in the battlefield, or even in a set up camp. He was in a bed in an unfamiliar room, completely undressed under the sheets, a formerly wet cloth placed upon his brow. His body was sore, especially where he was once wounded- he could tell, by touch, an expert healer restored him until his injuries were scars. There was the familiar scent of an Elixir in the room, among with others he wasn't sure about. Whatever they were, they helped on easing the pounding in his head.
He heard the movement of someone nearby, and he looked to the side to see Melanie, in a simple dress, checking strange bottles on a table.
"...Princess?" He spoke gently. She slightly jumped before turning to face him.
"Priam! Oh, you finally woke up!" She walked to the bed and sat next to him. "Don't you ever dare pull that and scare me again! You're lucky I had a Restore staff with me, else..." She seemed ready to burst into tears. "So don't do it again, you hear me?!"
There was a small smile on his face. "Thanks, Princess... I owe you one for this." He carefully brought a hand to put over her own, making her blush a little. "This place's yours?"
"Huh? Oh, here?" She shrugged. "It belongs to House Ylisse as a vacation villa for the Royal Family, though it's used more by the branch families."
