Thunderstorms
The changes in the atmospheric pressure was something Tatsuya had always been sensitive to- feeling ill with a headache and nausea whenever thunderstorms were to come. Katsuya was worried it could translate into Persona abilities, but so far, none of the Zio spells haven't caused his brother any headaches. He prays the unusual nature of them keeps from harming his little brother- he doesn't want to deal with a sick Tatsuya during a battle with the next demon they face.
Power outages
As the electricity shuts off, the sudden darkness gave way to a high-pitched, startled yelp, and the recognizable set of hands that was Tatsuya's grasping the back of his jacket.
"Uh, Ulala? Was that you?" The darkness seemed to multiply the concern within Maya's voice.
"No, I think it was Tatsuya-kun," Ulala replied. "Are you okay, kiddo?"
"That's the harder way!"
"Maybe I want to take the harder path, Éloise!"
This... wasn't what Katsuya expected when Éloise's parents asked the two of them to take care of her while they were off with their sons to visit their family overseas. Éloise might be eleven, but she was also raised as she would have been back in Canada, which meant she had a headstrong personality that doesn't bother Tatsuya at all.
Then again, Tatsuya had difficulties with societal expectations himself.
So Katsuya went back to making sweets, with a recipe popular back in Canada he hadn't tried yet, hoping his brother would dare try it.
Teasing each other about love interests
"So, how many crushes total does that make now, Tatsuya?"
Tatsuya duck his head. "Come on, aniki, don't you dare start too!"
"Well, there was Miyashiro-kun, Kashihara-kun... even Amano-kun, which is not surprising!"
"Speaking of Maya-nee," the younger brother looked back to Katsuya with a smirk, "I've seen how close the two are you are getting. Is it possible you're the one with the crush on her nowadays?"
The detective began to mumble things Tatsuya didn't catch as his face got red.
"Oh ho ho, am I right~?" The smirk grew larger. "Hey, I don't mind. In fact, knowing the little astrology I remember Jun teaching me, the two of you could can be a good match!"
